The thing about winter, even in relatively mild San Francisco ... it is Creation's wash cycle. That which will not grow will die, and winter is perfectly even-handed about that. Somehow, Hive has made it through a first crypto winter ... and is surviving this one thus far ... but this one is not over, and sometimes, as the poet has it, "April is the cruelest month." I want Hive to make it ... but I have no illusions about the likelihood.
