Soerabi, surabi, srabi) are traditional market snacks from Indonesia.
There are two types of soerabi, namely sweet soerabi that uses kinca (liquid brown sugar) and salted pancake with or without sprinkling oncom that has been seasoned on it.
In Bandung soerabi is usually sold in the morning but in another place they sold soerabi at night also and is cooked using a furnace to produce a distinctive taste. Sometimes a beaten chicken egg is added to the soerabi mixture that is being cooked.
Along with the times, many continue to innovate by adding various toppings such as sausages, cheese, and mayonase whose purpose is to break the assumption that soerabi is a low-priced food. Places that serve soerabi with a variety of flavors are spread in big cities like Jakarta, Bandung and Bogor.
One of the places that I visited tonight was Soerabi Nyonya Bandung.
This is a cool place to hang out. There are quite a lot of tables, some are outside the room and some are inside the room. Here we can see how to make the porridge because the furnace is outside the seat and parking lot. For a guaranteed good taste. If the price is still standard. If you pass by Denpasar don't forget to stop by this place.
