Tipat cantok is a typical Balinese food made from boiled vegetables and diamonds and served with peanut sauce.
In Balinese, tipat has the meaning of "ketupat" and cantok has the meaning of "diuleg / smoothed by mortification". Vegetables used in general are long beans, bean sprouts, and kale. These foods play a role in developing tourism and the economy in Bali.
Tipok cantok is not only easy to find in tourist attractions, in fact almost all regions of the island of the gods easily find typical culinary in Bali on this one. This food is the easiest to get at local stalls. Apart from its delicious taste, the culinary prices are cheap, between IDR 5,000 - IDR 7,000. This typical Balinese food is similar to ketoprak (Jakarta's special food and Gado-Gado (typical food of Yogyakarta). Even the ingredients used are almost the same.
This is one of my favorite place to bought tipat cantok because it tastes good, the place is small only 2 tables that can only accommodate a maximum of 8. Visitors usually buy cantok tips to take home.
