When I joined Hive, one of the things I noticed was the cordiality. Unlike other platforms, I sensed respect, support. I noticed how people are so welcoming, encouraging, kind. And that changed my perspective entirely, because I was thinking it would be a place where old members sideline newbies and make them feel they need to work tirelessly before they're noticed. But as a newbie on Hive, I have had people whom I do not know before now support my work here, and it's been really amazing and encouraging.
Again I have won on contests a few times on hive, and my rewards were sent to me. This shows transparency and integrity. And I must say, Hive is a platform where you get to learn certain behaviours if in case you didn't have prior knowledge on how to relate with people. Thank you, guys😊 
Now, to the main question. If I were to manage Hive for one day, what would I do differently? Well, like I mentioned earlier, Hive is a well coordinated place— the rewards, supports, the respect given to people, the weekly contests, curation and the people that are working tirelessly to see to the growth of this platform. Asides all these, and more that I haven't mentioned. I would introduce a weekly compilation of active old and new users, by this I mean people who publish posts everyday, put in the work and efforts, people who engage on posts, and all. Their names would be compiled and rewards given to them asides the leaderboard rewards.
Then for the newbies, I would also see to it that the community finds a way to check in to their blogs once in a week to upvote undervalued posts by way of supporting them. And this could mean that each community would have their own curation team. By this, newbies who feel unnoticed would be encouraged, and users would be more intentional and would show committed to the platform.
