Right from the time I got to understand how this platform works, I have never been a fan of some of the operational patterns, even when people applauded them. Take, for example, I know a lot of people who opted out due to the poor rewards on their post even though they've stayed on the platform for years. I also know some newbies who gave up when they got nothing at all on their series of first blogs.
Oh yeah, I know the talk of "everyone must work hard to be able to get paid(noticed)" but this also has "waves" because there are people who just got into this platform and everything started working for them effortlessly. You might say that's how life is generally, I know that too but the "decentralisation" that's tagged to earnings has not been effective and that's one area I would rectify if I had the power and funnily, I could get that power today just by selling off my father's lands and use the money to buy unlimited amount of hive and use it to power up. Lol
Jokes apart, I know the Dip of Hive has affected a lot of activities and how things used to be here when the price was up, but also, there's a way we can still make the platform accommodating to all and make it more active as it used to be.
It's simple, let the votes be spread and not centered on some sectors or persons as it's currently done. With this, even when the earnings are low, as long as it's well distributed, people won't leave, and the platform will still be buzzing.
I'm not referring to personal accounts that vote, nope, I'm referring to project accounts that are known for spreading votes. I don't want to mention names. These accounts shouldn't just be focusing on some preferred accounts or communities; they should spread and accommodate everyone as long as the users are being original in their articles. It sucks to see how some people and communities are being preferred.
If I had the power to get an unlimited number of Hive Power, I would just do this: make sure everyone is being encouraged.
Thank you
