I got started trying multiple mining programs, most were confusing and complicated for the average PC user. I much prefer the simplicity of NiceHash. NiceHash uses advanced benchmarks to find what algorithms your system can perform with best and also chooses the most profitable currencies to mine at the time. It is awesome getting paid out in Bitcoin once a week as long as your balance it at least 1 mBTC, or more often if you're making the mad BTC!!!!

Their customer service is truly amazing. I had an RX-460 running fine, then got a new RX-480 and could not get it to run with the software. My system would reboot. I emailed them and within the hour there was an update fixing my problem. (Shout Out NiceHash!)

Getting Started:

Go to www.nicehash.com, There is lots of information on how their service works if you’re interested in learning more.

Time to get started making some Bitcoin!

Once you are at www.nicehash.com proceed to the Getting Started Tab.

Scroll down the page to where the NiceHash link is.

Then you will be brought to this page, Then click the download link.

The newest update of NiceHash will download as a zip file.

Unzip the contents to your desired location on your PC.

Now it's time to run the NiceHashMiner application. (If you get any anti-virus warnings, just disable anything blocking NiceHash) I have used many versions of the software and had no VIRUS issues from using the software.

In the NiceHash software they recently added 3rd party algorithms, that increase profitability. I use them and there is a large increase of profits. (Makes me happy)

Agree or don't, your choice. (I recommended that you use the 3rd party algorithms)

Enter your BTC Address. Then select the devices that you wish to mine with. Now click the “Benchmark” button.

Here you can deselect algorithms you don't want it to run. Then click Start. (I recommend for your first run you benchmark all to see which is most profitable) It may take a little while to finish, you can choose fast but it is not as accurate.

In the settings screen you can go to algorithms and disable any if you have issues with certain ones. You can also change the currency to your dollar of choice. There is also many other settings to explore. Save and close the window, then click the “Start” button.
