What's buzzing, friends!
Friends are made in all sorts of ways.
Some friends are made through common interests; others are made through shared experiences. But for us, the best friends are the ones whom we have known for a long time. We have shared so many memories together, and we know each other inside and out.
It is the friends who are made through shared experiences that we are talking about today. We all know that when it comes to friends, we are very selective. We only want the best for ourselves, and we want our friends to be the best as well. This is why we choose friends who have been through a lot together. We know that they will be able to understand us, and that we will be able to understand them.
That brings us to the height of the Cold War between the USA and Russia. The CIA and the KGB were each trying to find out more information about the other. Each one sent a spy to try and recruit the other spy. That is when Jack Platt and Gennadiy Vasilenko meet. Their mission was to flip the other... but instead they became best friends. They both knew the other was a spy, but never revealed that - they only enjoyed a long friendship together.
You can read more about this interesting tale of friendship HERE. Before you head off to find your new best spy friend, you can read the updates from D.Buzz below, then have something to talk about with them. :D
