Hola, amigos. Una vez escuché a alguien decir: "Todos necesitamos tres amigos: uno con quien reír, otro con quien llorar y otro con quien crecer. Si tenemos la suerte de encontrar todas estas cosas en una sola persona, somos afortunados". Por eso hoy quiero hablarles de lo importante que son los amigos en nuestras vidas, ya que forman parte de nuestra familia.

Hello, friends. I once heard someone say, “We all need three friends: one to laugh with, one to cry with, and one to grow with. If we are lucky enough to find all these things in one person, we are fortunate.” That's why today I want to talk to you about how important friends are in our lives, since they are part of our family.

Cuando tenemos un amigo, nos damos cuenta de lo importantes que son en nuestras vidas. Nos acompañan en nuestro largo caminar, reímos, crecemos y lloramos con ellos; cuando estamos tristes, siempre nos ofrecen su hombro para llorar. Los amigos están ahí para nosotros en los momentos tristes y felices, son la familia que elegimos y, aunque no estén en nuestras fotos cotidianas, marcan la diferencia en nuestras vidas.

When we have a friend, we realize how important they are in our lives. They accompany us on our long journey, we laugh, grow, and cry with them; when we are sad, they always offer us their shoulder to cry on. Friends are there for us in sad and happy moments, they are the family we choose, and even if they are not in our everyday photos, they make a difference in our lives.

Personalmente, me defino como una persona amable, leal, tolerante y respetuosa con mis amigos, aunque solo tengo unos pocos amigos que puedo contar con los dedos de la mano, ya que lo importante no es la cantidad, sino la calidad. Me encanta pasar tiempo con ellos, interactuar con ellos y aprovechar al máximo cada momento, así como apoyarlos en los momentos difíciles. También soy de las que cree que las hermanas son las mejores amigas, porque sé que con ellas cualquier secreto está a salvo. Es bueno decir y reconocer que tengo amigos especiales que me consideran su hermana y cuyos hijos me consideran su tía.

Personally, I define myself as a kind, loyal, tolerant, and respectful person with friends, although I have only a few friends that I can count on my fingers, since it's not the quantity that matters, but the quality. I love spending time with them, interacting with them, and making the most of every moment, as well as supporting them through difficult times. I am also one of those who believes that sisters are the best friends because I know that any secret is safe with them. It is good to say and acknowledge that I have special friends who consider me their sister and whose children consider me their aunt.

Debo mencionar que cuando trabajaba, tenía muchos compañeros porque la escuela era muy grande. También hice allí algunas amistades verdaderas, que aún conservo hoy en día. Nos considerábamos realmente como una familia, tanto que tenemos un grupo de WhatsApp y algunas de nosotras nos convertimos en madrinas de los hijos de las demás. Salía mucho con ellas y nos reuníamos para hablar de temas educativos, celebrar un cumpleaños o conmemorar algún acontecimiento. Estoy muy agradecida a ese grupo de amigos por estar ahí para mí durante mi época dolorosa. Tengo amigos especiales, como mencioné antes, que me han acompañado en mi largo viaje. También tengo amigos a través de las redes sociales y en esta comunidad de #hive.

I should mention that when I was working, I had many colleagues because the school was very large. I also made some true friends there, whom I still have today. We really considered ourselves a family, so much so that we have a WhatsApp group and some of us became godmothers to each other's children. I went out with them a lot, and we would get together to talk about educational issues, celebrate a birthday, or commemorate an event. I am very grateful to that group of friends for being there for me during my painful time. I have special friends, as I mentioned before, who have accompanied me on my long journey. I also have friends through social media and in this #hive community.

Es por ello que considero que los amigos son muy importantes en nuestras vidas, y aunque no nos escribamos todos los días, están ahí para nosotros en las buenas y en las malas. Es por eso que debemos tener amigos. Hasta la próxima.
