(Bulgarian: Паметник на Цар Освободител) is an equestrian monument in the centre of Sofia, #Bulgaria. It was erected in honor of Russian Emperor Alexander II who liberated Bulgaria from Ottoman rule during the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-78.
