Splinterlands to Hive Community
@splinterlands
It took me some time to finally join my first Hive Power Up Day. At first, I was hesitant and unsure about what to expect. I joined the Hive blockchain through @Splinterlands, initially thinking that would be my only involvement. However, I soon discovered that the Hive ecosystem offers much more than just the game. This realization opened up new opportunities for me within the blockchain community.
After reading articles about HPUD, I learned that participating in this event significantly establishes my role within the Hive ecosystem. By powering up, I do not only increase my voting power but also foster community engagement. These lead to greater engagement with fellow users and contribute to the long-term value of my account.

One of my favorite DApps on the Hive blockchain is the Hive @keychain. I consider it the "Swiss Army Knife" of the blockchain because of its versatility and essential features that make navigating Hive seamless and secure. For my first-ever HPUD participation, I relied on Hive Keychain to power up my account, and it worked flawlessly.
Since I’ve accumulated around 50 Hive tokens, I decided to power up with what I have. This experience has motivated me to learn more about the Hive ecosystem and explore ways to engage further. I also plan to write more content to earn additional tokens for the next Hive Power Up Day.
Now I got the power and I can feel it!

To Bee or Not to Bee
One of the key factors that motivated me to participate in HPUD was the insightful articles by @azircon and
@captaindingus. They highlighted that there is much more to Splinterlands than just gaming. Splinterlands is a way of life. As a vital "block" within the Hive blockchain, it’s essential for us to thrive as a community. While there are many extractors among us (and I used to share the same mindset) there are a few who care for the community. I might have not reached that level of financial maturity yet but now I gradually recognize the importance of contributing positively to our blockchain and I might as well keep my role as one of the bees in the beehive.
Are you a helpful bee in the hive?
I recently came across some fascinating articles focused on the KE-Ratio, which piqued my interest and motivated me to give it a try. This incredibly useful tool was developed by @beaker007 and
@slobberchops, and I found it to be a valuable resource for understanding my status in the blockchain.

Interpretation guide:
My score of 0.58 indicates that I am holding more assets than I am earning on the blockchain. With this score, I hope to contribute positively to the growth of our ecosystem and inspire other extractors to reconsider their approach.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post!
