My sister has a deep passion for sharing her travel experiences across Europe, captivating her audience with stories and insights from her adventures.
Despite my encouragement (and at times, my insistence) for her to join us here in Hive, she remains resolute in her decision to maintain her YouTube channel. This platform has become a significant part of her identity, allowing her to connect with fellow travel enthusiasts and showcase the beauty of the places she visits. While I see the potential benefits of diversifying her online presence, I respect her decision to prioritize what she loves most about sharing her travels.
I shared with her that many members of the Hive community would undoubtedly be eager to hear her captivating tales from her travels across Europe. In response to my enthusiasm, she suggested that I could post her stories on her behalf.
Today, I am excited to share with you my sister's adventures exploring the beautiful island of Madeira in Portugal. Known for its stunning landscapes, rich culture, and unique outdoor activities, Madeira offers a wealth of experiences for travelers.
Madeira: 'The Hawaii of Europe'
According to BBC, Madeira is the far-flung 'Hawaii of Europe' and I couldn't agree more based on the stunning pictures my sister shared. Madeira truly is a paradise.
São Vicente
The municipality of São Vicente is rich in natural and cultural heritage, featuring the vibrant Laurissilva Forest, notable volcanic caves, and charming historical monuments.
Miradouro da Ribeira da Janela
Situated on the northern coast of Madeira Island, Miradouro da Ribeira da Janela (Viewpoint of Ribeira da Janela) provides a breathtaking vista of the lush green slopes that beautifully contrast with the deep blue of the Atlantic Ocean.
Seixal
Seixal is described as an idyllic paradise, featuring a striking black sand beach that contrasts beautifully with the surrounding lush green mountains and is embraced by crystal-clear waters.
Funchal
Located in a bay along Madeira's southern coast, Funchal serves as the capital and the primary hub for tourism, culture, and commerce in the archipelago.
By the way, that's my sister striking a pose for the camera!
Pestana CR7 Funchal
As passionate football enthusiasts, my sister and her family chose to stay at the Pestana CR7 Funchal.
Pestana CR7 Funchal is a modern 4-star hotel located in the center of Funchal, Madeira's capital. This stylish hotel is a collaboration between Pestana Hotels and football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
