It was another nice sunny morning so why not go to one of our favourite places for a walk. The Ifield Mill Pond.
There was an incredible amount of birds here. A godzillion of seagulls floating around amonst the geese and ducks.
The young cygnet is doing well, and it's feathers are just beginning to change from the grey to bright white which will take most of the winter to fully complete.
At one end of the lake, the low water level is very apparent. This is where the main source of water comes in from a stream which is hardly running at all! That should finally change now as we are getting heavy showers, but it will take a long time, probably the whole winter to reach normal levels.
