Hot trip to the nature centre! : My Actifit Report Card: May 23 2026
Our UK weather is hot now. It would be a shame not to enjoy it so we spent a little time in a nature centre with one of our grandchildren.
On the short walk from rhe car park I spotted a tree with what looked like handkerchiefs hanging from the branches amonst the green leaves. I have seen a tree like this somewhere else but I can't remember where. Tilgate park has suchva wide variety of plants and trees. A fascinating place.
We came especially to see the blue crane birds which are sitting on eggs. I took a picture of the sitting bird. These are lovely looking creatures.
We wanted to see the lemurs which have produced offspring but were disappointed again as they were huddled up at the back of their indoor section and difficult to see.
