We had glorious sunshine prety much all day long after a frosty start. We left early this morning for an hours drive to Guildford, a cathedral town in Surrey. A pleasant drive in the conditions, so I took the country route, avoiding the dreaded M25 London orbital motorway in the morning rush hour traffic.
After our business in Guildford it was a similar journey back home again, still in lovely sunshine. Having done this journey a lot lately it is easy, but I don't enjoy driving as much as I used to due to the amount of traffic around these days.
It is always worth checking the route with Google Maps before setting off which gives an idea of best routes and any slow/blocked sections as well.
