12k steps today, and honestly, it didn't feel like I was trying that hard.
The morning started with a simple walk to get some fresh air. Once I warmed up, I added a bit of jogging and followed it with a few basic exercises. Nothing extreme—just enough movement to wake up the body and put me in a better mood.
The rest of the day was made up of normal activities, but I kept finding little chances to move. A short walk after lunch gave me a break from the routine, and another after dinner helped me wind down. Add in all the walking that happens naturally during the day, and the steps slowly started stacking up.
By the time I checked my tracker, I was at 12k steps.
I think I'm finally understanding that an active day doesn't have to be built around one big workout. It's more about avoiding long stretches of sitting and taking those small opportunities to move whenever they show up.
What’s your favorite way to add a few extra steps to your day—morning walks, evening walks, or just taking the longer route?
