The heat has finally given way to thunderstorms. I have heard the odd rumble in the distance, but so far, it has kept dry here. As I write this at about 7.30pm BST, there is a storm passing by.
It has been hot and sticky at work. Sitting in the truck can be uncomfortable as there is no air-conditioning. There is a beneficial side to this work in this heat. Our trucks have fridge units fitted in the body to keep the catering cool. It is very nice to climb into the back when catering a flight! 鉂勶笍馃榾
