Los últimos minutos de felicidad de Sebastián - Relato [ESP-ENG]
Sebastián era un joven de 20 años de edad que vivía junto a su familia en una ciudad muy tranquila y calmada donde realizaban muchas actividades artesanales, algo que le gustaba muchísimos hacer a esta familia. Este joven de repente es reclutado por el ejército militar de su país para formar parte de su batallón, es aquí donde Sebastián sufre y llora mucho por la separación de su familia, sin embargo, hará lo posible por regresar a casa.
Esto fue una situación inesperada, algo que Sebastián ni sus padres jamás se imaginaron que les iban a suceder, no podían hacer mucho porque su hijo era mayor de edad y podía pertenecer y ser parte del ejército de su país. La madre y el padre entre lágrimas se despidieron, le dieron la bendición y le desearon mucha suerte.
Sebastian was a 20 year old young man who lived with his family in a very quiet and calm city where they did many handicraft activities, something that this family loved to do. This young man is suddenly recruited by the military army of his country to be part of their battalion, it is here where Sebastian suffers and cries a lot for the separation of his family, however, he will do his best to return home.
This was an unexpected situation, something that neither Sebastian nor his parents ever imagined would happen to them, they could not do much because their son was of age and could belong and be part of the army of his country. The mother and father said goodbye in tears, gave him their blessing and wished him the best of luck.
Unos días atrás ya se escuchaban a lo lejos de donde ellos vivan muchos disparos, gritos e incluso se veían las bombas caer desde el cielo como si fueran fuegos artificiales. Es aquí donde esta familia empezó a recoger todas sus pertenencias e ir guardando todos sus equipos de trabajo para que no se los quitaran y dañaran, había mucha gente corriendo por las calles de la ciudad resguardándose por lo que estaba sucediendo.
No tardo mucho para que empezaran a bombardear a unos kilómetros de donde ellos vivían, la familia entra en desesperación y no encontraban que hacer, así que no les quedo más opción que dejar su casa e ir ese a un refugio que ellos tenían, para pasar la noche un poco más tranquilo y seguros pero igual muy asustado.
A few days ago many gunshots, screams and even bombs could be heard falling from the sky as if they were fireworks. It is here where this family began to collect all their belongings and go saving all their work equipment so that they would not be taken away and damaged, there were many people running through the streets of the city taking shelter for what was happening.
It did not take long for the bombing to start a few kilometers from where they lived, the family became desperate and could not find what to do, so they had no choice but to leave their home and go to a shelter they had, to spend the night a little quieter and safer but still very scared.
En la madrugada, un poco en calma, deciden averiguar que estaba sucediendo y así estudiar las posibilidades de buscar más recurso para poder pasar los siguientes días encerrados. Cuando salieron y caminaron alrededor del refugio todos se quedaron sorprendidos al ver que todo estaba destruido, quemado y había una gran nube negra de humo y muchos soldados recorriendo las calles dela ciudad en busca de jóvenes para así crear un ejército más grande.
In the early morning, a little calm, they decided to find out what was happening and thus study the possibilities of finding more resources to spend the next few days locked up. When they went out and walked around the shelter they were all shocked to see that everything was destroyed, burned and there was a big black cloud of smoke and many soldiers roaming the streets of the city in search of young people to create a larger army.
Sebastián estaba muy asustado y nervioso porque si lo veían lo iban a reclutar y él no quería separarse de su familia porque tenía una gran responsabilidad de cuidar a sus padres y además no le gustaba la guerra, la sangre, cargar un arma de fuego e incluso estar dispuesto a morir. Sebastián tuvo que salir a buscar unas provisiones que hacían falta para el refugio, con mucha precaución y con los ojos bien abierto, pero fue visto desde lo lejos por los soldados, en su angustia empezó a correr hacia donde estaban sus padres.
Comenzó a gritar muy fuerte, pero por mala suerte se tropezó con una roca y se cayó sobre las cenizas dejadas por el fuego, Sebastián se ha puesto llorar con mucha desesperación y temor mientras que le apuntaba con las armas, ya que no podía escapar.
Sebastian was very scared and nervous because if they saw him they would recruit him and he did not want to be separated from his family because he had a great responsibility to take care of his parents and also he did not like war, blood, carrying a gun and even being willing to die. Sebastian had to go out to look for some supplies that were needed for the shelter, with great caution and with his eyes wide open, but he was seen from afar by the soldiers, in his anguish he began to run to where his parents were.
He began to scream very loudly, but by bad luck he tripped over a rock and fell on the ashes left by the fire, Sebastian began to cry with great despair and fear while pointing the guns at him, as he could not escape.
Al paso de las horas la familia se enteró de lo sucedido y se dirigen donde estaba su hijo, ya que no lo iban a soltar. Cuando los padres llegaron a ese lugar lo primero que vieron fue a muchos jóvenes llorando y pidiendo que los soltaran, todos asustados. El padre de este joven pidió hablar con un general para ver las posibilidades de que lo vieran por última vez y poder despedirse de él.
De repente Sebastián es soltado y fue corriendo donde estaban sus padres para abrazarlos muy fuerte, eran sus últimos minutos de felicidad al lado de sus padres, tuvieron una rápida conversación y Sebastián les decía que tendría que dejarlos por un par días para pertenecer al ejército. Los padres no tuvieron más opción que dejarlo ir, deseándoles muchas bendiciones y suerte en esta etapa de su vida.
As the hours passed, the family found out what had happened and went to where their son was, as they were not going to let him go. When the parents arrived there, the first thing they saw was a lot of young people crying and asking to be released, all of them scared. The father of this young man asked to speak with a general to see the possibilities of seeing him one last time and to be able to say goodbye to him.
Suddenly Sebastian was released and went running to his parents to hug them tightly, they were his last minutes of happiness next to his parents, they had a quick conversation and Sebastian told them that he would have to leave them for a couple of days to belong to the army. The parents had no choice but to let him go, wishing them many blessings and good luck in this stage of his life.
Sebastián se despidió y se retiro con la cabeza abajo, muy deprimido y triste al lado de muchos jóvenes que estaban pasando por lo mismo, donde sentían que esa era la última vez que verían a su familia. De repente Sebastián se voltea y grita lo más alto posible: Nos volveremos a ver pronto mis queridos padres.
Sebastian said goodbye and left with his head down, very depressed and sad next to many young people who were going through the same thing, where they felt that this was the last time they would see their family. Suddenly Sebastian turns around and shouts as loud as he can: We will see each other again soon my dear parents.
