For many years I've been waiting for an opportunity to take day off from work, and here's an opportunity. Although it's not really a day off, I can't do what I like to do at my convenient, but still, it's a good time to throttle down, stay at home, work from home, and take good care of myself and for the family.
So I decided to get up early, so I can hit the road and proceed to get some groceries. They open at 8am, so I left home at 7:15 just to be sure I'll be the first few to be there.
The people is sick, the society had stopped, but the world didn't know it. This is the familiar place I usually take a photo before I head to morning walk. It looks as beautiful as usual, as nothing happen to the nature. I would take a wildest guess, even if all of us parished, the scenery will remain as attractive as it could be, provided we don't nuke it.
I've parked my car and getting ready to crash into the mall for groceries shopping, and saw this flower very pretty, decided to take a close up shot. Once again, I'm having trouble trying to capture it. It just doesn't look right. I saw it with my eyes, it's very dark purple, but somehow the phone camera captured it as light purple.
This was one of the busiest street in Menjalara. Shop houses on the left are full of eateries and insurance agency counter. During a normal day, the road shoulders will be fully parked and left with a narrow middle lane for car passing through. Anytime if there's vehicle moving out and the car from the back are getting ready to park in, the whole road will become stand still. And now, the only standstill is the biker under the tree, and myself taking a quick photoshoot.
Just like any other urban cities, will have thier slump part. This is a private space, but some business minded people make use of it as a private car park. Better yet, another group of people put on a small hut and start operate it as a restaurant. On the right side has a small table and a few chairs, people started a car wash business here. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against it. What do I know, probably after this pandemic, not sure if they're still around to operate their business anymore.
There's a small recreational park here for the citizens to hangout. During this situation, it's better to stay home. Suddenly, it gave me the feeling of Armageddon. Remember the scene from Terminator 2?
Sun is quickly popping up, I better quickly get back to the front gate and getting myself ready to crash in to the premises.
Apparently, the supply truck is stuck at the city entry. They'll only be here later and by the time, the mall will be full of people and I really do not like the idea of lining up people after people. Who can guarantee their safety if I'm infected? Vice versa, I can't possibly risk my family by queuing up here exposing to possible infection before I can grab some supply for the family.
Not much fresh food I can get from the groceries shopping. This is all I got and I think it should be enough to feed me for a day or two. Tomatoes and cucumbers.
Have you try before? Peanut butter spread with chocolate spread? If you haven't, this is a must try, at least once in a life time. See whether if you like it.
One thing people must understand, the ingredient and nutrition fact sheet labeled on the bottle are essential. Anything that is canned, are considered processed food. Be it lightly processed or heavily processed, they are processed. Check out the ingredients, sugar, rapeseed oil, palm oil, dried skimmed milk, fat reduced cocoa pwder(5% only!!!), whey powder, emulsifier, flavoring and etc.
What I want you to understand is, CHOCOLATE SPREAD is the general TERM of this canned food. The index is blended in Belgium for a deep, chocolateY FLAVOR. So, they did not mislead you, they did TOLD you it's not chocolate, but it was FLAVORED somewhat like chocolateY. You don't have to believe me, go to your kitchen and read the label of your favorite maple syrup that you squeezed like half a bottle into your pan cakes? There's probably 0 maple in it. It's just a regular corn syrup with maple leaf flavoring added. ROTFFLMFAO.
Anyway, done for the day, went out packed food for the family for dinner as I'm too lazy to prepare for them. It's time for me to make posts, reply some messages, call it a day and I want to workout even more tomorrow!Thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day, if not evening.
