I have done so many crazy things for love which I am not proud of. I still don't know how I allowed myself to be used by these ladies. All I know now is that all these are stories to be told and never again will I allow my self to be used since I know better and I have become wiser.

I had a crush on a girl and fell in love with her. I asked her if she was in a relationship but she told me she wasn't in any. I told her about my feelings which she rejected at first but told me to give her time to think about it.
I later got to find out she was in a relationship and I asked her about it. She told me she already broke up with the guy but the guy still want her back. I believed her and that's how I got into a competition with a yahoo boy (Internet fraudster) just to win this girl's heart.
Yahoo boys as we call them don't care about the money they are spending since they don't work for it. And so, spending lots of money on this girl wasn't a problem for him. Can you imagine entering into a competition with such person? Isn't that foolish of me? And not that the girl even likes me in the first place. Seriously, who did this me to?
Me that's is managing my life now started spending on this girl just to match up with the guy so she would know that I am also capable of providing for her the same way the guy was providing for her. I started buying her gifts, taking her out for shopping, taking her to restaurants and even to the movies. Guys, before I knew it, my savings was already crying馃う.
This is a girl that told me she had no feelings for me and that she was not romantically attracted to me. Here I am spending my savings on her just because I want to win her over. Seriously, I don't think I did all these with my clear eye or did I? Because why on earth would I be this foolish? I sha don't care what anybody thinks.. I think I was charmed.
The craziest and funniest part of this story was what happened during her birthday and trust me, that was the height of it. I asked her to pick any place of her choice that I will make sure she enjoys every bit of her day. I wanted it to be special for both of us, not knowing she had other plans. Can you imagine that this girl picked one of the most expensive hotels in town? I knew I was low on cash but then I thought it wouldn't be a problem since it was just going to be both of us.
Men and brethren, to my greatest surprise this girl came to the hotel with four of her friends. I was so shocked when I saw them because I never planned for that. I had little on me and the foods and drinks in the hotel were very expensive, so how on earth am I going to pay the bills? I excused her and asked her why she never told me she was coming with her friends and she told me that they came to celebrate with her and there was no way she would send them back because she was coming to meet me. Her response made me feel bad but there was nothing I could do since I was hell-bent on impressing her.
Can you imagine these girls took something worth over a hundred and fifty dollars? I budgeted just 50 dollars and I had to pay three times the amount I budgeted.. Smh.. I wasn't having such money on me and so, I had to call a friend to help me out who laughed at me and told me he wouldn't since he had told me several times to stop spending my money on a girl that will never value me. Long story short, I had to sell the last coins in my wallet to clear the bills.

I became broke all because of a girl. My crush finally made me broke. She wrecked me all because I wanted to impress her and win her over. I saw all the red flags but over looked then because I was in love. Now see what that love has done to me. There and then, I decided to forget about her and move on. After all, she isn't the only girl in the world. There are others who would value my love and wouldn't even make me go broke right?
