I was thinking what is the next thing to write, then I wanted to make some coffee. Then I thought that would be it, write about coffee.
I try to drink a least one cup a day. So I used to think that coffee was bad for you, but I look again and some think it is like a super food.
Well, I guess I am in the middle. I don't put sugar into my coffee, which I know a lot of people like to do. I used to not even have sugar in my house.
I have to say, that I do have sugar now, but I don't use it. You see I use to have a friend and every now and then I might do taxes for her. Well, the last time I seen this friend which seems to be a long time ago as I write. Maybe it was in the late 90's.
You see my friend came over and wanted me to do taxes for her friend. Well, as I was doing taxes for her friend on my computer, my friend was going through my house looking for something to drink, but I mostly just drink water.
I did have some coffee, so she made some and wanted to know where my sugar was. I told her that I don't have any sugar, but I did have something that a friend gave me, it is called, stevia. Stevia is an herb, like a sweet herb.
Well, anyway my friend tried the stevia, but I don't think she liked it. She did drink it though since it was all I had.
So, like I say I do have some sugar in a jar now, but did I buy it? No, you see I was helping someone move and she didn't want to take her big sugar container with her. So I thought about the time, my friend was looking for sugar and I didn't have any. So I took the sugar from that person that was moving.
So that is why I have sugar in the house now, but I don't use it. So how long can sugar last? Well, I read that sugar can last for years if properly stored. Well, I think I have been holding that sugar for years now.
So if I ever get a visitor that needs some sugar in the coffee, I will be able to offer sugar. I am laughing as I am writing that line.
Well, I do get visitors every now and then, but they hardly ever want any coffee or sugar.
So you might be thinking, well, what do you put in your coffee? Well, I have been drinking it black, but lately I been putting salt in my coffee. Yes, I even do that in public and people ask me, Why?
Well one thing about salt is that most people that listen to the doctor and listen to the TV shows brainwash the people that they need to use less and less salt. Really? If the doctors are wanting you to use less salt, maybe I should use more.
Well, I am not going on my own. If you look at a video called, DEAD DOCTORS DON'T LIE Full (original 1994) - Dr Joel Wallach. It is put up by Rick Myre.
Well, in that video he talks about people as old as 140 years old that drink several cups of tea each day and in every cup they put a big lump of butter and a lump of salt.
So how do people drink that much salt and still live to be 140 years old? Maybe salt is really good for you, but we have been told lies.
It is always good to go back to the scriptures, as it is written, with Jesus speaking, Salt good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another. Mark 9:50.
Let's end with a scripture, with Jesus speaking, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. Luke 13:24.
