I have these grapes growing on my persimmon tree and my cherry plum tree. Well, and some are growing on a shed and part of my detached garage.
Well, the grapes that are too high for me to get at I will let the birds have. Well, I have noticed over the years of birds flying into the vine and getting some treats. Yes, good for them.
The birds are also good for eating the caterpillars that would later want to eat on my tomato plants. So it is good to have the birds near by.
I have even seen a bird in the morning eat some of my Swiss Chard. Well, that must have been some healthy bird. All my Swiss Chard has gone to seed. So I haven't been eating Swiss Chard lately. I will have to plant some new plants.
I have been eating more from my kale plants. I think the real name of my kale plants are True Siberian Kale. Well, I believe that was the name on the package.
I have been saving seed, so now I have a large amount of kale seeds.
So let's get back to the purple grapes. These are seeded purple grapes. When I was a kid I used to always spit out the seeds of every fruit. Now days I seed that there is a value in eating seeds.
You seed seeds are mostly bitter. Did you know that there is a certain section of the tongue just for bitterness? Yes, I just looked it up there are bitter taste buds in the back of our tongues.
Maybe that is why I like to eat kale that does have a bitter taste. Remember how I talked about vitamin B17? It is a very bitter vitamin. A food with the most vitamin B17 is apricot kernels.
Remember why you want to eat foods with vitamin B17? Well, because vitamin B17 can fight cancer. There is a really good documentary on Youtube about putting vitamin B17 into the body is called, A World Without Cancer (HQ) - The Story of Vitamin B17 - G. Edward Griffin. It is put up by John Lasele.
So you can see why I like the idea of eating the seeds of my purple grapes as I will get some vitamin B17. Today I did eat about 8 or 9 kernels of apricot seeds. Yes they are bitter, but I grew up on bitter melon when I was a kid.
Plus with knowing that the bitterness of vitamin B17 can fight cancer cells, I have more of an incentive .
So I will eat these purple seeded grapes in its time. I will consume the sweet with the bitter. It is a balance.
Let's end with a scripture, with Jesus speaking, I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:5.
