I was on my way out and my cat seemed to be acting kind of funny. All hunched over, then I saw it. Out of her mouth was a tail of a mouse. Oh great the cat caught another mouse. Good for her.
My cat likes to just wait by the front window area. I guess that is where there is some kind of activity. I seen her catch a mouse before and I guess that is her favorite place to wait for a live meal.
Well the more mice she eats the better. Hopefully she ate that mouse as I had to leave and didn't get to see her eat it.
I got to catch a mouse too, but with a mouse trap. I had to be careful as I didn't want my cat to step on it by accident, but I did notice a sound where the spice rack was.
So I put a little mouse trap where the cat never goes, just a small place where the cat can't get to even if she wanted. I put some cheese on the trap and set it and placed it.
That night nothing, but when I got up in the morning the mouse trap was disturbed and a mouse attached. Well I put some throw away plastic gloves on and grabbed a pliers. I used the pliers to pick up the mouse trap with the mouse attached.
Then I set it in my dust pan. Then put the pliers away and unlatched the mouse trap and the mouse body was on the dust pan. I reset the trap as the cheese was still attached and place it in the same place.
Then I went to the dust pan with the dead mouse and I took the dust pan to where the entry to the crawlspace is outside. You see the entrance of the crawlspace is where the skunks enter the crawlspace.
Well knowing that skunks eat dead things I wanted to see it they will eat it. So I place the mouse body where they couldn't miss it. Well the next morning the mouse is gone. Well, if I catch any more mice I will just drop it off over there and a skunk will eat it up.
The things I like about skunks is that they eat mice, rats and termites. So as far as I know a couple of skunks stay in the crawlspace of my house. That is good as they eat the rodents, dead or alive.
Let's end with a scripture, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremy 1:5.
