The weather here sometimes gets so hot that we literally wish we could just be immersed in a pool or some body of water and remain there all day to salvage the heat situation that comes with a particular season here in this part of the world. The weird one is wishing that we could be locked in a refrigerator or something like that, to keep cool and avoid the heat that gets extremely overwhelming.
Bathing always feels cool and soothing. But only long enough till you're out of the shower or bathroom, and the next minute you're already sweating profusely. The heat season comes with all of these. In other parts of the world, this is known as the summer season. It's that time people like to go to swimming pools, beaches, to cool off and all of that to manage the weather or season.
Say there's an opportunity to escape the heat and burden of this season in the form of a holiday or festival beneath the ocean, with some form of measures in place for a safe environment for people who would be coming in for the festival, would I want to do this? Would I choose to partake in this idea and adventure of a summer festival beneath the ocean? How about when the access ticket price is high?
I've always mentioned how I consider and like the idea of adventure. I mean, it feels good to experience and try new things. You tend to have more exposure and some stories to tell. All that could make me want to go to that festival. Perhaps, I could experience what mermaid life feels like. Chuckles. One thing I do always say as well in respect to adventures is, at what cost would I be choosing that adventure?
This is where I consider the nature of that adventure and whether it's one to take by all means. And for me, this isn't one adventure and festival I would be willing to partake in. Not even when the ticket price is high. I understand that there'll be provisions for a safe environment for people. But the thing is, with water, anything can happen. Even if the ocean plants and animals don't interfere, the water body itself is a threat, and one of the greatest threats humanity has faced.
We see that in the likes of floods due to dams breaking or overflowing. What's worse is that it's dangerous and harder to control, unlike fire, wind and other elements. I consider all these and I feel the better option is chilling back at home, perhaps with AC through that summer. I could use that ticket money to subscribe to some movie platform, maybe watch Aquaman and see what life beneath the ocean looks like. Then possibly, I might go in the event of a next one.
