It's the weekend currently, and you can tell how people appreciate this little break from work through some of the content they share on social media, and how this has been made into something relatable. It's just three days, but it's appreciated as time away from work to rest, spend time with loved ones and maybe have some fun. All of that to ease away the work stress from the week. The holiday season is a bigger version of this.
Sooner than we can tell, the holiday season will come around. It's a beautiful time of the year, maybe the most memorable and interesting for many. Holidays provide time away from work to spend it with family and loved ones, and even catch up with long-lost friends. For some, this is the time of the year that they get to be with some of their loved ones and spend quality time with them. You can understand why it's so anticipated and prepared for.
As a result, we see a lot of travelling during this holiday season and time of year. People will be travelling from one town or city to another for this purpose. For some, it means travelling to the village to see their loved ones or some extended family relations they haven't seen for a long time. It's that busy time of the year, with people up and down to get this or that, have some things done, and schedule travel plans to different places.
The holiday season creates and gives a lively atmosphere that leaves virtually everyone in the mood for celebration, relaxation, and some fun, good times. For these reasons and more, many people really look forward to that time of the year, with plans, preparations and schedules to ensure it goes well and is enjoyable. At least before they resume work again. How well this season will go for some is dependent on the situation of things.
Finance has an implication here, and a major dependent situation for some. People couldn't travel home even when they wanted because of how much it would cost them. Some had barely enough to get what they needed to celebrate with their family and loved ones as they wanted. Also, considering how the price of things does skyrocket during the holiday season; from goods to transport fares and so on, all add a layer to that.
I hope to enjoy the season in a good and positive way. A good one would be to spend it with and around family and loved ones. Maybe go out with friends too and have a good time while doing that, and other things. I'm sure that somehow I'll see some friends and people that I haven't seen in a long while; throughout the year or more. One of the surprises of the season is that you can't tell the people you might run into, as many tend to travel home.
It's a season that I believe should also be impactful. Not everyone will have something tangible to enjoy the holiday season that'll be filled with celebrations and so on. Why don't we reach out to such people in the little way we can? Even if it's just the ones close to us and in our little capacity. I look forward to seeing that and participating in doing so. It'll be icing on the cake to all the good that's planned, prepared, scheduled and will happen this holiday season.
