Guess where I was today? Well, I guess the title gives it away. Yeah, I went to Moraine Lake, Banff Park, Alberta. Back in the day you could actually drive to the lake and park, but nowadays, it’s virtually impossible to get to Moraine Lake (or Lake Louise), unless you are willing to be in the parking lot by 6AM. You know me, the “Sunset” guy, notice I didn’t say “Sunrise” guy. So thats out for me. Plan B is to take a shuttle out there. So that is what I did. I guess it’s not exactly the best run shuttle system out there, but what can you do. So today was super Smokey, due to wildfire activity. So I figured there would be fewer people accessing the lake, boy was I wrong! It was definitely packed with tourists. The cure to the congestion is to hit the hiking trail, so that is what I did. Will be sharing more photos in the coming months. But first I need to share all the photos from July (which I have barely begun to do). Stay tuned.
