As you can see, the colours look a bit dull in these photos. The colours don’t really pop much with the smokey surroundings. I did try my best to enhance the photos somewhat using Lightroom. This is my first third time on this particular trail. First time was with the whole family, a few years back, and the weather was outstanding on that particular day. Second time was with a friend, and we got hit with a downpour of rain. Third time lucky right? Nope. Forest fire smoke to deal with this time. Better to be on the hiking trail than to be sitting at home sulking though. Here are a few of the photos taken on the Larch Valley trail, Banff National Park, Alberta. Fall of last year (yes there was smoke last year too).
