There is no major river in the Beijing municipality, but there are many small rivers and channels throughout the municipality that are built for agricultural irrigation and emergency flood control and rainwater management systems in the rainy season. Also, during the rainy season, there can be sudden floods and heavy rainfall that need to be handled properly to avoid unwanted risks for city dwellers.
And so, most of the rivers here are very small, as you can see in these pictures. But the beauty of the riverside area in this place is truly eye-catching. This area is in a very rural area in the mountain region, where nature is in its ancient form without too much artificial touch. The mountain range is also visible in the photos and is completely covered with green surroundings .
