A few more pics from my epic hike to Ptarmigan cirque, Kananaskis country, Alberta. It was a wonderful short hike, perhaps a bit on the cool side though. After all, we are at a high elevation, no surprise there really. Initially I did begin with toque and gloves, but after about a half hour or so on the trail, I did remove the toque to prevent overheating. I would estimate that there were approximately fifty hikers or so on the trail that day. According to AllTrails, this is one of the more popular hikes in the area, seeing as it is easily accessible, and big scenic rewards for very little effort. Talkin my language. I guess it would be preferable to see fewer hikers out and about, but one good thing about that, it gives you a sense of safety. Safety in numbers they say.
