It's the time of the year when the cold wind is escorted with the hot scorching sun. The irony of life yeah? The time of the year when happiness just seems to fill the air. The time of the year that's all about love and giving though it should be something that goes on all year. The time of the year when children are most excited because of the goodies and gifts they'll get and so much food they'll be allowed to eat. For me as a child, it was that time of the year that I couldn't afford to get any wound or injury on any part of my body because if I did, I would be too conscious of it and not have maximum fun with my cousins. It's that time of the year when we see the Nativity portrayed through different ways. It's Christmas time again.
Now that I'm an adult, I don't think anything has changed. I still look forward to having as much fun as I can with my family and friends. Now I look forward to cooking different dishes, having my family( nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters) over so we could be together as it is the only time we can be together. Christmas just brings that feeling with it. It's just the 14th and I'm already planning on what to do. Oh I almost forgot my Christmas clothes. As a child, I usually get new clothes and shoes from my parents for Christmas and wear those on Christmas day. It's still the same for children now but as an adult I can't get that anymore.. lol. I wish I can still get new clothes and shoes though, even as an adult.
I just love Christmas and everything that comes with it. I hope you love it as much as I do.
