| I never liked burdock, which formed thorns. It was awful! Sometimes we, children, played in an abandoned garden on our street and when we got into a thicket of burdock, we all got out in thorns. Then for half an hour we tore these prickly balls from our clothes. And that's good, if only from clothes, but these balls with their sharp hooks incredibly firmly clung to the hair. It was a real pain to untangle them from the hair, sometimes it was even necessary to cut a strand of hair, because it was not possible to pull out the thorns. But now, many years later, I am no longer afraid of burdock thorns, because I no longer play in abandoned gardens. Now I photograph these thorns, which sometimes grow near the road. These prickly balls are especially beautiful on a winter morning, when they are covered with frost, some silver powder. Just look at this prickly beauty! 😊 |
