Well, sadly, my long anticipated trip to the Lake District had to get cancelled due to the Covid.
I was really looking forward to getting back up there for some photography, and looking forward to stopping at Ambleside, with a view over Lake Windermere, England's largest lake.
Sadly, it wasn't to be, the hotel were excellent and really understanding, as it was the night before we went, that the dreaded covid hit.
So I thought I'd share some of the shots I did on my last visit to the lakes, just in case anyone missed them the first time I posted, there are some that I've not shared before and some that have been reprocessed.
Due to work commitments etc, we won't be able to get back up there until at least September.
I really hope that you've enjoyed this rather low-toned post, but looking at these shots did bring back good memories, and certainly created the need to head up to the lakes more regularly.
Admittedly, the shots in this post are more quick snaps than serious shots, but either way, I like them, and we did get some nice light on a couple of days.
I suppose with covid, it is a blessing really, thinking about how bad the weather has become this week (as I am typing it's snowing outside), a major change from the 23 degrees we hit this time last week.
I have lots of photography planned for my days off work, including drone stuff, just need to get the oil leak fixed on my car first (booked in friday).
