Last season, I purchased a Gold Foil Tarsa. Due to this, I am working on strengthening my Fire Splinter Deck so that it will be more competitive. It is getting harder and harder for me to get back up to the Silver III each season so I need leveled up cards to make that possible.
Charlok Minotaur
One of the Fire Splinter cards that I have chosen to level up is the Charlok Minotaur. Charlok Minotaur was a rewards card during the Untamed pack era of Splinterlands. I had starting playing a few months before those rewards were replaced with the Chaos Legion reward cards. I had earned a few of them and won a few others in giveaways.
I had received 10 cards that I had already leveled up to two level 2 cards.
True Strike Ability
Charlok Minotaur can be used very effectively as a tank in your lineups especially since it has the "True Strike" ability. The ability means that your Monster's attacks cannot miss. So if the monster has wings or the doge abilities or has a lot greater speed it can still not miss.
Charlok Minotaur Card Price
With the prices of the Charlok Minotaur card dropping substantially over the past three months, I thought this would be the perfect time to finish upgrading this card to level 3.
Level 3
Since I already have two level 2 cards, I only need 4 more cards to level up to level 3.
Instead of buying 4 level 1 cards, I noticed there was a level 1 card with 4 BCX listed for only $0.12 per BCX. This is $0.01 per card cheaper than if I bought 4 separate level 1 cards.
I combined all of my cards together and now have a level 3 Charlok Minotaur. When playing this with Level 3 Tarsa it will have 5 Melee and 10 Health. I should be able to be more competitive and win a few more matches each season.
