Why do overseas children stand out more than children who live with their parents?

I think, there are few important things that affect children when they live independently.

Children living with their parents have no or less space or privacy. When you have less privacy or your own space, it affects your mental well-being, according to a study. When children are living without their parents, they have more freedom to express themselves.

Parents would give advice on each and everything, whether the child ask for it or not. Such as, when to eat, when to go to bed, or when and how long to study. This affects the brain negatively.

Children living without parents see the life from a different perspective. They are more independent, manage their own budget, make own decisions, and feel confident in themselves.

Parents always treat their children as kids, even if they are grown up. Staying away from parents would make children feel as if they are mature enough to live their life independently, and this will boost their confidence and self-esteem.
