I am thinking about what it would look like to visualize the current coin count of Hive in real time and show the entire supply of Hive as a virtual pie chart
We have https://hiveblocks.com/ and I can make a chart, but I wonder if anyone knows how to make a script that generates a 3D visual of the supply in real time? Each time new Hive is issued HIVE coins could fall on the page.
Maybe the further breakdown of how much of that supply is staked, swapped, powered up or in savings, in an animation would be an interesting tool.
It might demonstrate, like many Bitcoin visualizations, how much Hive there is and we can watch the flow between HBD and HIVE as well as Hive-Engine tokens. That is a lot of information but it is on the Hive blockchain.
Can scripts be written to pull that information out of the most recent blocks and then use that information to generate dynamic animations to show the circulating supply?

Anyhow I think the Hive supply is shorter than we think. How many coins are added each year? What is the inflation rate? An animation or visualizaton tool would be helpful to see in real time. Every minute how many Hive are created, and how much goes where? Some to the rewards pool and then to users via curation voting. Where else? I have lots of questions and am always looking for better tools and information. I love stats and clearly spreadsheets too.
