Some weeks it is easier to keep track of the price, some weeks not as much. I decided a long time ago to keep my eye on the ball, at least. I don't know what is going to happen, but pretty much exactly what I suspected and may have suggested has unfolded. Will there be lower lows? Probably.

Will there be higher highs? Inevitably. I don't have all the answers but I have a lot of questions and you can see my curiosity and follow along here, as I keep my eye on the price of BTC.

9:43am the past three hours reveal BTC are coming down from an uptrend.

BTC has 46.42% dominance today followed by 18.12% in Ethereum.

The price of BTC is still too high but all the gains from the past 3 months have been eliminated.

It seems likely to me that there could be more downside to come.

BTC is still up 28% over the past 6 months.

There were 854 days between
May 1st 2018 when BTC was $9,024,

and Sept 7 2020 when BTC was $10,359.

During this time BTC dropped all the way to $3,221.98 USD.

This is one reason why I suspect BTC will trend lower for a while, at least until after the next halving. What if BTC trends even lower for longer? 854 days from Today September 7th, 2023 is January 8th, 2026. Will BTC punish the network while trending lower in 2024 and 2025? If there is upside in 2026 will it only come after shaking out all but die hard hodlers? Will you sell your BTC for Altcoins?

If this really is altcoin season, what coins have real value when BTC drops? Silver? Gold?

For now at least, Bitcoins till seems to be trading sideways.
