-Having grown up on Chicago’s southside to a single mother living off food stamps, I can certainly empathize with the struggles of the impoverished inner city inhabitants. I dearly hope that the impoverished in America can find someway to better their lives. With that being said, I think it is time that we as a society start to be more honest about the issues our demographics face. Black people are approximately 13% of the US population, yet black Americans commit over 40% of homicides. These statistics can certainly lead one to believe that the culture to be found in “Black America” might be more of a factor in the oppression of black Americans than any other factor.

-If we ever hope to impact a situation for the better, we must engage it from an intellectually honest way. We can NOT expect to find unity by demonizing people, and assuming their guilt for things of which they are not responsible for. No one gives a fuck about how we feel when it comes to social policy, period. With that being said it may behoove us to start to get to the bottom of what truly causes these injustices which target the black communities in American cities.

-After the civil rights movement, there was a well recognized shift in American party politics. This happened due to the voting rights act of 1965 which lifted suppressive regulations that stiffened black Americans ability to utilize the polls. The Democratic Party has always been, and remains, the party of oppression. They once held black Americans down with chains and whips in the south. Now they hold them down with policies and rhetoric in our cities. Their motto quickly became “If these niggers are going to vote they might as well vote Democrat”.

-The majority of black Americans are subject to a lack of options when it comes to education, as public schooling schooling seems to dominate our cities. These public schools most certainly adhere to a specific bias and no longer (if they ever have) advocate for the free expression and development of ideas. You need to think as they require you to, if you wish to pass. This is obviously because these public schools are dependent on the Politicians whom allocate their funding, thus they must ensure generations of new voters will exist.

-Now it seems that affecting the minds of youth with bias throughout their adolescent years simply isn’t enough. Now it seems, that universities have taken the stance that feelings are far more important that free expression and exchange of ideas. Either you fit the narrative or you ar a heinous aggressor. Either you think like we do, or you must be destroyed. The universities are serving a particularly dangerous form of authoritarianism, which preys on the need to emotionally satisfy one’s need to be morally superior. This happens at the expense of reason and logic, and if one dares to object they are obviously an aggressor.

-Democrats are openly known to advocate and enact severe regulations and government interference on private business, to the extent of damaging markets. To increase the minimum wage means that, young people whom need to develop marketable skills, no longer have as much an opportunity to because they simply aren’t worth the wage. A business with X amount of employees must account for the increase of their payroll expenses but subsequently raising the price of their services or goods, in most every case. To raise the minimum wage, or to have one at all, simply means to directly stiffen the entry level worker and the consumer. It also goes to serve as a screen for any “little guy” hoping to nudge his way into a market by starting his own business, since he likely can not compete with the giants of his market in providing such inflated wages, that corrupt policymakers demand.

-It is time to acknowledge the factors which are truly serving to oppress Americans regardless of race. It is time to start viewing each of us as individuals separate from any collective. It is time to start listening, and stop thinking with our feelings.

-It is time to unite.
