RE: Weekend Long Run - 21.29km - 02:09:10 - trying a new route
We did indeed, was a lovely day for it... I am running out of 'local routes'... need to find a few more to help keep things fresh (also helps motivate to explore a new place)

RE: Morning Run: Round the Garden
That's a great run out today, although at 19.5km, I'd be itching to get to 20km (and then probably round up to 21.1km lol!) !BEER !PIZZA

RE: Moth Trap - 15th August 2026 (Probably the busiest session I'll get this year!)
Yep, lots to look at, it was a great evening. Also cool to get a new one :-) I think I liked the Small Ranunculus the best, love the the little flecks of yellow on the wings. Hadn't noticed the eyes until

RE: Afternoon Run - 6.36km - 00:39:30 - finally some rain! 🌧
Feeling better than I was at least and yep helps that the weather has finally changed. I think we've all had enough, but the experts are now saying we are in for an unusually wet autumn/winter, so I'm

Sounds like it! Everywhere seems to be getting more extreme weather... after our record breaking heatwave, we've now been told that due to the building El-Nino thing, that our autumn could bring record

The Plumes are weird aren't they! I also love the Ruby Tigers, cute and fluffy and such a vibrant colour The relentless hot/dry weather is starting to become boring now lol! We keep topping the pond up,

It was a reasonable turn-out, would expect more for the time of year though! Something is better than nothing I guess...

Can't resist some US Moth researching... a quick google on your white fluffy caterpillar, leads me to the below website: Sadly, the adult moth is not quite as interesting to look at!...

RE: Afternoon Run - 21.26km - 02:09:19 - long run finally done
It didn't feel too warm when I set off, but definitely sweating by the time I got back! Yes I take water on longer runs. If I know I'm gonna be out for more longer than 15km, or more than 90 minutes, I

Probably not as many as I think lol, most people these days have bluetooth head phones or ear pods, I just see them as something else to keep charged (and/or lose!) I'm happy with my cheapo wired in-earphones

to be fair, it's been so rubbish recently that i'm trying to not complain about the heat... we've been long overdue some nice weather! That said, I did make an effort to get out early ish. I also know

to be fair some of the smaller ones are really quick, and it's hard work just to get a vaguely decent photo! But these days I find that I'm taking less photos, content just to pause and watch them flitting
