I started the day with a walk along my usual route, to Alton Baker Park and back. A bit later in the morning I drove over to the Walmart on the west side of town, but before I went shopping I walked across West 11th to walk along the Fern Ridge Path through the wetlands. It made me feel very nostalgic because this is where I used to take my regular walks a few years ago when I lived closer to this part of Eugene. I didn’t go all the way to the end of the path, but enough to get another 10k steps. Then in the afternoon I walked down the riverbank path to the Owen Rose Garden and back.
