I took my morning walk to Maurie Jacobs Park and the Owen Rose Garden again today. A lot of my time was spent thinking about a game design project. There’s an annual design contest for tabletop roleplaying games that I’ve participated in a few times, Game Chef, that just posted the parameters for this year’s challenge. I wasn’t planning to participate, and I wasn’t initially very enthusiastic about the prompts, but on my walk today I came up with an idea that might work very well. It’s not really a good time for me to start a new project, so I’m not sure if I will do it yet, but it’s also never a good time to be creative, so it might be best to just do it anyway.
