This morning I incorporated some errands into my morning walk. First, I have an appointment next week at somewhere I’ve never been before, so I wanted to see if it was easy to find and walkable (it is, although it would be a long walk so I can probably only do it if it’s not raining since I wouldn’t want to be too wet when I arrive).

After that I was in the vicinity of Alton Baker Park and it was just around 6am (when the parks theoretically open — I don’t know how strictly they enforce the rules but I try to follow them anyway). I went through a part of the park I rarely visit.

Then I crossed over the bike bridge to the parks and paths that are part of my usual route. Here's a photo from the Greenway Bike Bridge this morning:

Today when I was walking through the Delta Ponds area the Great Egret I’ve been seeing there was moving around a bit, so I decided to try to shoot some video rather than just still photos.

After that I started heading home, but stopped off at a store for my second errand. I needed to pick up a tool for a craft project. I had planned to stop off at the craft store, but I was a few minutes too early for the store to be open, so I went to check out the craft section of Walmart to see if they had what I needed. They did, and by that point I was pretty tired so I just bought it there rather than comparison shopping. Hopefully the project works out (I’m being deliberately vague in case it doesn’t, if it does I’ll almost certainly post about it when it’s done).
