Being a member of this platform is not just one of the best things that can happen to anyone that likes blogging, but also, the best place to learn new and newer things on the blockchain network.
Steemit has its unique rules and regulations guiding the platform for better use. This enable the users to have that confidence in doing what they know and as well, earning from doing it.
It's not a new news that one should know what he/she is into before taking any action for every action has a reaction.
What would a novice be doing in a professional ground like this without knowing the simplest functions?
It annoys me when I see a very fresh steemian who doesn't know how to write an "introduceyourself" post is casting a negative vote to a very well pleased post without any tangible reason.
This to an extent has brought my attention to writing a post like this, so as to make it more public that every newbie on this platform should try as much as possible to read the rules and mode of operation before performing any task in any way.
For better usage of this platform, one should know that an upvote is a sign of "well done" and a downvote is a disapproval from you.
Nobody will like to get a downvote, not even from a minnow and no downvote will give you any return but will annoy the person you gave the downvote to trace you and as well, give your latest post a downvote (at least 50%).
Instead of just giving a downvote (consciously or not) and walk away, add a comment to the post which should contain the reason for your action.

MINNOWS!

BE WARNED!

Take necessary steps and all will be well with your stay on this platform.
Know what you need to know and success will forever be yours.
Thanks for your time and support on this post.
