Arte que huele a mar y devoción [Esp/Eng]

Caminando por el sambil, me encontré el domingo con un conjunto de pinturas al lado de la entrada del cine. Era arte sobre la patrona del Oriente venezolano y de los pescadores, la Virgen del Valle. Su imagen es símbolo de milagros, esperanza y protección para muchos margariteños, por lo que podemos ver su figura siempre en diferentes murales y hermosas obras en Margarita.

Este día, por un largo pasillo, me quedé para apreciar un rato los bonitos detalles de las pinturas, que algunas decían en la parte inferior "Cuidanos". Tenían hermosos colores y acabados, los marcos de madera los hacían ver aún más bonitos. Eran hechas en su mayoría por la artista Ninoska del Valle, a excepción de una pintura que fue mi favorita, la de un pez enmarcado en madera oscura, realizado con colores fuertes y festivos. Lo que me gustaba es que su cuerpo tenía flores, corazones y mucha creatividad que me hace recordar a la libertad del arte. Además, tenía puntos por toda la obra haciendo que se vea como un relieve. Esta hermosa pintura fue hecha por Miranda H.

Otra que me gustó mucho, fue una parecía como las casas de Boca de Río, porque justo son un conjunto de casas coloridas a la orilla de la playa que tiene barquitos. Espero que les hayan gustado. Hasta la próxima.

Walking through Sambil on Sunday, I came across a collection of paintings near the entrance to the cinema. The artwork was dedicated to the patroness of Eastern Venezuela and of fishermen, La Virgen del Valle. Her image is a symbol of miracles, hope, and protection for many people in Margarita, which is why we often see her figure in murals and beautiful works of art throughout the island.

That day, along a long hallway, I paused to admire the lovely details in the paintings. Some of them had the word “Cuidanos” (“Protect us”) written at the bottom. The colors and finishes were stunning, and the wooden frames made them look even more beautiful. Most of the pieces were created by the artist Ninoska del Valle, except for one painting that became my favorite, a fish framed in dark wood, painted in bold and festive colors.

What I loved most was how its body was filled with flowers, hearts, and so much creativity that it reminded me of the freedom of art. The entire piece was dotted with small points, giving it a textured, almost embossed feel. This beautiful painting was made by Miranda H.

Another piece I really liked looked just like the houses in Boca de Río, a cluster of colorful homes by the beach, with little boats nearby.
