Today I woke up at 5.00 am for a quick sunrise hike to a hill close to Samokov. It was really beautiful, I was sitting on some late antiquity ruins and waiting for the sun. It was quiet and the cars passing by the road below the hill sounded like airplanes, and every tiny little bird or animal moving in the dark dense forest - like a bear 馃槂. Did you know that on a steep terrain it is really hard to walk when there is a thick carpet of fallen leaves? It was incredibly slippery, but luckily our hike was short.
And this is literally a wall from V century - remains from Shishmanova Fortress.
We came for this.
