That's what faith can do. I talked about how hearing the right word (God's word) can turn things around. So what then happens when the right word becomes your life? In this article, we will be looking at how words can become reality. Do you have any experience to share already
1 John 1:1-2 NIV
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. [2]The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.
Have you touched your faith before? Or do you even see faith to be a latter reality? Hebrews 11:1,3 NIV
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. [3]By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
Maybe I should start with the patriarch Abraham who against all hope, hoped. At your late nineties, you are still holding on to becoming father of many nations through a seed not yet born. Though it tarried, this fate became a later reality; Isaac.
There are some dogged faith you read through the scriptures or hear of and it will inform you that you really have to step up. In short, this is where we are going to center this article on.
This morning, I was just going to some gospel videos (short sermons) as I was trying to arrange all my needed uploads for the day. This was when I got to hear this act of faith or maybe I should say; ‘trigger to another dimension of faith’. It was the man of God talking of how he read through what happened in the Acts of the Apostles;
Acts 5:15-16 NIV
As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. [16]Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.
This was where the man of God asked himself a question that shifted him into another dimension of grace. If a man's shadow can heal the sick and the same Lord who sent him sent me, why should I be struggling to heal people?
A big question that needs to be acted upon. And so it was when he stepped into the church he made sure the light reflected his shadow As he began preaching, his first words were: as I walked from the walkway down to the altar, healings had already began, if you have been healed, come out.
What can you say when people start trooping out. Even his faith was still staggering to see this kind of result. He had to use the microphone again to try and correct what he felt was misunderstood; I didn't say ‘if you want to be healed’ but I said, ‘if you are healed already’. More people added to the trooping and this was when he knew he had tapped into another dimension of faith. This is another definition of the word becoming flesh.
In conclusion, this is why I said you need more of the word. First, it will help you stand and secondly, it will help you to make others stand too. This world needs more believers who can turn God's word into manifestation. Without, it is more of story telling and we have not been called to tell stories.
