My hands are slow to type and this time it is not because I am exhausted. Sometimes you just wished everyone had that mental upgrade. Ok, I will be delving into faith talks this evening and I hope to get it out on time. These days it has been a sleep off and leave an article unposted.
Knowledge is Power and I can say I have been privileged. This is not me looking down on anybody but rather also informing myself the need to live out ALL God's deposition in me. You must have read or at least heard of the parable of the talents. To fast-forward it, Jesus said; ‘to whom much is given, much also is expected’.
maturity is beyond age, this I why I pray God the grace to meet up with my Ministry; preaching the Goodnews to the poor being a major part of it. Some are ignorant while others misinterpret situations. A man once told me he is matured enough to make decisions for himself yet how he wasn't able to think right was surprising. Worst of all, he made ignorance a garment. When you TRY to put him to light he will swerve to this or that, trying to show you how aged and experienced he can be. On such matters, I clean my hands and go my way. I was sent to the poor; if you are rich enough.
That aside, I want to emphasize on patterns in this article. At least we have experiences or have seen occasions of repeated occurrences. The breaking of a new day from 6:AM and it folding back by 6:PM. Autumn, winter, harmattan have their seasons and it keeps repeating the same throughout the calendar year.
Pushing further, we can see the same attributes in humans. doctors are very good at analysing it. Genetic and traits is that terminology. They use it to cover multiple causes of sicknesses.
Defining a little as a layman understanding, take family for instance. It can be a no appetite for certain meals, a repeated behavioral character like being hot tempered, overeating and the rest. We see it keep moving from one generation to another. Can patterns be spiritual?
This is where the entire article gets very interesting. Ever heard of the parable of the planter? Mathew 13:24-29. What are the essence of patterns; to make things stay the same or on the other hand, stop other things from happening.
So can we call stagnation a force (or better put a behind the scenes spirit)? Daniel prayed and when Angel Gabriel showed up he said, ‘the princes of Persia were waging a serious war’. So why would they be waging this war? to maintain a territorial pattern.
Many times we just keep calling happenings and repetitions normal. Nothing is working and the moment it is about to work, something comes up and counters it and it ends up in level zero again. It keeps repeating itself for years and up to decades. You still think it's normal?.
To conclude, let me add, it is best we sit up. Apostle Paul said, ‘fight the good fight’. This is where the church and Christians need to sit up, spiritual patterns are very real. Forces are working tirelessly with the aim of frustrating the Kingdom of God. The set patterns in families, places and territories just to keep things under their evil will and control. This is not to stir up fear, please fight the good fight.
