At first you will be thinking, how much does my dad love his job that he gets up early and leaves us behind. Where there times you felt he should go nowhere? Of course you cried and a pack of biscuit or ice cream did the job. He carried you around for a while and finally still left you behind to meet up with job. He really loved his job!!!.
I hope you can explain that better now that you are grown up. Yes, I mean the difference between ‘love to’ and ‘have to’. No work no pay has been a long standing slogan and if you are to extract something from the scriptures; a lazy man should be left hungry. Even the bible talks about parents meeting the needs of the family.
‘As busy as the bee’ and you will feel the bee just enjoys being busy. It has to meet up with its daily chores for the sake of the hive. The entire thing is about taking responsibility irrespective of whether you love it or not. This is the similar story we share as humans; you have to take responsibility for something.
The worst of the decisions is to do nothing. Time is ticking to start with and you ended up doing nothing?. Sometimes you don't work because you want to but rather because you have to. Even while going to bed, I already know there is a lot to the coming day. And well, I can also add, don't conclude that someone is lazy just because he wakes up late.
I just had such experiences recently with someone close to me who just happened to branch to my place to spend the night. When did the call come in? Some minutes to 12:AM. Consider coming back from work at such a time.
Ok, let me not jump into my own scenario or last night's experience but it led to me waking up late this morning. Saturday was a late night sleep and Sunday well, I had an important meeting to stay awake and it was more of a mix that I overstayed. I concluded an overall night sleep by 4:AM and I already knew it was going to be a difficult one waking up early enough today.
I felt like taking a break, am I missing my ‘no work on Monday’ already? It seems so, at least I was sure it will have to be from tomorrow by then. Four social media handles to put in contents. I have some meeting hours to catch up with while also having to push out some jobs in the office. I even received such late night messages from a customer concerning his job.
To conclude, let me add, I knew I had to start somewhere at least to make sure today is not a waste. Contents all ticked, Yesternight job request cleared, I was able to connect with our work affiliates partner to process a DTF print. Something has been achieved in the sewing department too.
Pending office machine repairs has been processed under my supervision and this is me trying to conclude the night with this article. I will try my best to wake up early enough by tomorrow morning. I will need enough thinking through and strategizing time. As I said, not necessarily for the love of it, responsibility had to be taken care of.
