Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
This also lets us understand that there are things that can choke faith; other words. It could be what people are saying in your family, your community, your neighborhood. Backwardness can become a norm and mostly proverbial administered.
People mostly say that after God in power ranking that it is satan until my spirit one day detested and rejected this red flag belief. How can this even be true?

NOTE: to overcome all the powers of the enemy. Jesus did not say some power of the enemy. Maybe I need to remind us that we are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus, far above principalities and powers.

It is Written' can never be compromised and the devil knows this very well. The question here is, do you know this too? If you do, then you can fully maximize the sword of the spirit.
Maybe you used to be a slave to sexual immorality until you picked the reality in scriptures like;
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NIV Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; [20]you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
To conclude, let me add, the take home here is this, intoxicate yourself with God's word and you will be able to overcome this word and every scheme it plans to play on you. Make sure the scriptures are the loudest words in your spirit. Meditate on it daily and when due you should not relent from voicing it out. You must prove to this world that you know the truth and ‘The duty of truth is to set men free’.
Keep your Bible close, it is an asset you have to come out fulfilled at the end of it all. Read, re-read, jot down, underline it. Whenever you are faced with any challenge, the first place you should run to is God's word. You become what you hear frequently.
