It is a question of who is not actually interested in dominance right NOW. We can start off from the Russian- Ukraine war that has lasted this far. The Russians government claims Ukraine is theirs and should play by their rules.
We saw how the war disrupted financial markets and I get it was the year of the worst Bitcoin price downtrend.
Many Ukrainians have been displaced since then and you can feel for them. The war has continued so long that many even forget that something of such is going on; well, the people are bored but Vladimir Putin and his team aren't. One can say Ukraine have also tried in holding on this far.
One of such things I learnt recently is that the Ukrainian military and technology department have advanced in the course of this war. The ability to take down drone bombs have been applaudable and in short, the US team and the Middle East are NOW calling for their help to warn off Iran drone tactics.
Delving deeper, we can say it's another phase entirely because Iran is putting Ukraine currently in their enemy target list for wanting to help Israel, US and other Middle East counterparts. How did Ukraine even get advanced in drone detection and extermination in the process if not that Iran were selling cheap drones to Russia to use in fighting Ukraine. So were they not actually quiet enemies?

We can also look at the situation surrounding China and Taiwan. It is one of those in-heart decisions of dominance. Currently, reports have come in of China doing a war parade around Taiwan. Some feel they are planning a take back strike since the US seems a little busy in the Middle East. In summary, China claims Taiwan is theirs and should not be separated from them as a country. Anyway, Taiwan has the backing of the US and some other Asian countries. It can be a war to really calculate on how it will reflect on the Chinese economy since that's what seems to really matter.
To conclude, let me add, so what's the take back here? Every TOP country has an eye for dominance. Ukraine and China who are the top contenders for world power have shown the same. You get surprised how these three always play cards around themselves with very distant trust if there is even any at ALL. The question is, of these three, which would you prefer to be world power? The US have their flaws but we can say let them just be, power has the ability to always corrupt and a shift currently will mean World War III.
Aside from just the war, how better will the new replacement be in case. The world is an already foretold prophecy anyway and it is dancing just towards that direction. The hunger for power may cause a push button anytime.
