Today I didn’t really have a lot of time to take photos but I was able to stop by, close to the lake, and atleast get some shots that I could use for #monochromemonday. It’s a perfect theme for days like this when the landscape is all covered with snow. Pretty much have a monochrome photo from the get go.
This first photo I went to a small cliff close to one of the shores. There was a last row of trees just by the edge of the cliff that created nice silhouettes to the lake landscape in the back.
For the next photo I chose to point the camera in a different direction. I haven’t spent much time in this area before so I’m not sure if it’s some kind of path there next to the field. Could be a path for skiers but I couldn’t really tell from this distance.
For the last and final photo I headed in The opposite direction and walked towards the forest edge. I wanted to capture the sun setting through the forest. Unfortunately the sun was kind of bleak at this point and didn’t give me that sharp contrast that I was looking for, but I’m still happy with the photos of today :)
