I am a gamer and a crypto fan first and foremost.馃榿
I started playing Splinterlands back in Aug 2021, on quest seeking out crypto/Play2Earn games.
I have been a gamer almost my entire life my Dad got the family a computer when I was just 7 and to his frustration I started gaming almost immediately. Two of the first games was Frogger and Ducktales. However my true love for gaming came from the Quest / RPG games like Heroes Quest , King鈥檚 Quest and other in that awesome series.
It was during the most recent bull run, however, that Splinterlands caught my eye. I began looking at P2E games at the time, being a long time TCG fan having played Hearthstone , Splinterlands just made sense to me.
I started my journey by doing my own research and following the OG streamers and devouring all their content. People like Stever82 + Infidel1258. and Bulldog.
A couple of months after starting to play I came across some references to a DAO
named YGG and that they are the biggest organization out there.
I quickly got in the Discord and started talking to everyone I could making connections with Gohaun ,Lastdragon and Lorkus. I managed to find them at just the right time and even with my little bronze deck was given the opportunity to become part of the guild and DAO.
I joined the streaming side of YGG SPL and through our regular contact with some of the OG streamers and the SPL team became aware that SPL TV was launching and the SPL team were looking for streamers to on board. I jumped on it immediately and became part of the first draft of streamers to launch the channel.
Be sure to catch my streams over on SPLTV. On Fridays and Sundays.schedule found here https://splinterlands.tv/schedule. You can connect with Damour on discord Damour#1543 or Twitter @Damour08. Damour also streams on Twitch and Youtube for the YGGSPL channels for our podcast show Into the splinterlands with my co host Roguepatton and I also do the Weekend Challenge show with my other co host Damienwolf for Team PH. Here is the links for that and https://www.youtube.com/@YGGSplinterlands/streams
One of the most fortunate events that occurred in my Splinterlands life was me connecting with MangoMayham and the whole TEAM PH team. I was introduced to him by Lastdragon as a suggestion of forming some collaboration initiatives
in building both of our communities.
I am very excited to find out what the future holds for me and the whole SPL community.
I think Team PH is shining example of how working together brings strength and gives people without the monetary means to get an opportunity to grow with time and attention one day be an owner of their very own assets.
